Stud lambing well underway at Mimjack, including triplets

We tagged 11.5kg of triplets today, produced out of this lovely quiet ewe, Aurora Park 200075, and sired by our resident sire of our 2026-drops, Ramsay Park 244018.

This ewe definitely scored a “1” for maternal behaviour score!

Lambing is well underway at Mimjack, with all lambs tagged and weighed within 24 hours of birth. We also give each ewe a Maternal Behaviour Score (ranked 1-5). Learn more about Maternal Behaviour Scoring. 

At marking, we will collect TSUs from each lamb to send away for DNA testing, including DNA parent verification to both sire and dam.
